Episode 45: SSX Ubercast Gets Us Hits

We promised it to him before camp, and now that we’re finally back here he is! Charmy of the SSX Ubercast joins us this week as we once again abuse his more successful show’s name to get ourselves some search hits. Hey, it’s the only way we’re going to get any hits in the first place, so can you really blame us? Yes, of course you can.

This week’s big topics include how to pronounce “Dweeng”, prank call albums, Prince of Tennis and how none of it physics, The Last Samurai and Tom Cruise, a cookout at Ben’s apartment, Mucha Lucha: The Return of El Malefico, Kevin Smith’s Dogma, Batman (again), the decline of humanity Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, forgetting to eat, Cool Runnings has a depressing and stupid ending, Charmy’s SSX expertise, Doba tries to rate his own podcast five stars, Charmy’s L4D2 friends, Dreamcast games (Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5), why you should play Sly Cooper, and Persona 4: Arena.

GUEST APPEARANCES: Charmy (of SSX Ubercast)

ENDING SONG: French Virgin Party ~ Glen Check

EASTER EGG(S): Charmy does… something/Ben’s back to a lot of things/The first failed intro/We’re redoing it

Episode 42: Screeching Songbirds Of Pain

Ben and Doba sit in Cabin 17 on this day recording a podcast with Joe Bush. Clay was gone because Clay is dumb. This is around the point in the summer where we all just get tired as hell so don’t be surprised when we sound exhausted. Because we are. This results in a lot of singing from Ben and Joe, and then Ben abandons us to go talk to people outside, but we don’t blame him so don’t worry.

Also, quick warning: The first half an hour or so of this episode is pretty NSFW. Do not listen to it through loud speakers. Trust me on this one, just… don’t do it.

This week’s big topics include camp changes, Malcolm in the Middle, G4 TV, The Megas and Brentalfloss, new OCRemix songs, Whisper of the Heart, Tales of Earthsea, Clerks, Professor Layton, Ocarina of Time, Dave Mirra’s Freestyle BMX is basically like Morrowind, Final Fantasy IX, Super Mario 3D Land is really easy, and Bubsy 3D.

Oh, and Happy 4th of July American listeners!

GUEST APPEARANCES: Joe Bush (of Games&That Podcast)

ENDING SONG: Agadoo ~ Black Lace

EASTER EGG(S): Doba and Joe Bush kill time while Ben is outside

Fun fact about this episode’s ending song, the chorus is actually a camp song we sing all the time in the Dining Hall. We had no idea it was an actual song until this week when Paul (our cabinmate and Ben’s roommate) found it. So that’s pretty cool.
