Peter Spezia goes by the online moniker of “Youko” and he is the creator of the Show Me Your News Network! He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Screen Arts and Cultures (film and TV studies). He currently is pursuing a Master’s degree from Oakland University in Communication (Media Studies) and does video production work for Chrysler Group LLC.
Peter lives and breathes media. Many video game franchises are important to him, such as Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., and Ace Attorney – to name a few. He can also be found in front the TV watching How I Met Your Mother, Community, The Daily Show, and a slew of sports programs. When it comes to films, he enjoys titles directed by Christopher Nolan and a variety of animated movies. He also thinks American Beauty needs to be seen by more people. When Peter isn’t engrossed in media or nerd culture, he likes to play music (guitar) and sports (baseball/softball), particularly with friends.

Miles Allen is better known by any of his aliases, be it Super, Soul, Selim, Solharath, Hyde, or Hidden, but here on this show he’s known better by his legal title. The most competitive of the hosts, Miles is a well known contender in Smash, claiming high places at National tournaments and holding a Top Spot for his character, Sonic.
Miles was raised Nintendo Hard, and his taste in video games reflects that, and it is very hard to impress him with a video game that merely holds your hand through the experience, often mentioning the demon that goes by his New Name, Autosave. Juxtaposed to his love for challenging media is the fact that Miles hardly enjoys typical media, finding joys of entertainment in shows such as My Little Pony, Adventure Time, and Ouran High School Host Club, just to prove that he does, indeed, watch anime. He’d probably be a PC enthusiast if his collection of multiple PCs were younger than The Buzz Saw’s daughter.
Miles is a co-host on the longest running show on the Network, Show Me Your News. Super also pilots his very own show, Superfluous, in which he himself cannot pronounce nor produce correctly.

Rachel Yates, most commonly known as “Eevee” in the online world, has been a member of the Show Me Your News community since early 2011 and she’s been bringing her British charm to SMYN ever since. In the real life world, she works a mundane 9-5 desk job as a job recruiting head-hunter. It’s not all glamor!
Rachel loves to spend her free time on video games, mainly from her nostalgic era of early Sega systems up to the Nintendo 64. She’s far too addicted to The Legend of Zelda series than she’d like to admit and would spend pretty much all of her waking life on video games…if it paid the bills. Her main form of entertainment in her spare time is streaming video game entertainment for the masses on Twitch under the alias SMYN_Eevee (from the comfort of her bed, no less. Total luxury doesn’t get past her). So if you ever want a lady to reminisce over games of old, Rachel’s your girl.

Joe DeVader, who more prefers to go by thedobaga or Doba, is the Network’s resident bearded crazy man. While he is trained to do web development and IT work, Joe finds himself as a host in a chain restaurant. Dream big, kids.
Some might say Joe somehow has far too much free time on his hands and this could not be any more truthful. Being a person who can’t concentrate on just one thing, he’ll often marathon an entire series (anime or otherwise) in a week, or at least an entire season of one. Gaming is no exception to this rule either, since most of his free time is spent burning through games at a fast pace. Persona 4 takes 80 hours and months of time to get through? Try one week of near constant play time. A good amount of his game playing revolves around the Indie market, going on record as saying the Indie movement is “the coolest thing to happen to the industry in years.”

Ben Higbee or referred to by the internet community by his handle: “Ben” is the co-host of the runaway train “Read the Manual” and enjoys certain activities like the video games, pet restoration and habberdashery. In his not-free time he works at an office being a deskmonkey.
Ben likes to start a lot of solo projects that never really pan out, but are a passion to him. He’s been a cartoonist online since 2008 even though his updates are pretty spaced. He does goofy videos from time to time on his YouTube channel, and puts up a video every weekday on a second throwaway channel due to a Faustian pact with a friend of his. Other hobbies include game design, creating music, and a lot more, but podcasting definitely takes up most of his time, and he’s pretty content with that.
